Jane Ansley Jones

Jane Ansley Jones is a Brantley County High School graduate and current student at Georgia Southern University. In Fall 2025, she will begin her Master of Science in Environmental Science and continue her education as a “Double Eagle” at Georgia Southern. Passionate about environmental research, Jane Ansley works in a freshwater ecology lab, where she further explores her scientific interests. Outside of her academic passions, she spends her time going to the beach, playing tennis, skateboarding, and since joining Dancing with the Southern Stars… dancing! Additionally, her time is spent running her two small businesses- Stuck On Jane Stickers and Candidly Jane Photography. Above all, her greatest passion in life is to make the world a better place and she hopes to start right here in her hometown. 

Jason White

Brantley County native Jason White is a proud Georgia Southern University student, currently working toward a degree in Film with a minor in Public Health. His passion for storytelling and community health led him to spend the summer of 2024 studying abroad in Ghana, where he gained firsthand experience in global public health initiatives. Dedicated to his education, Jason plans to continue his studies at Georgia Southern in the fall, earning the prestigious title of “Double Eagle” as he pursues his master’s degree.

Beyond academics, Jason has spent the past two years working in Facilities at the Southeast Health District, furthering his commitment to public well-being. When he’s not studying or working, you can find him immersed in his favorite creative outlets—whether it’s bringing stories to life through filmmaking, traveling and exploring new places, or diving into the worlds of music and gaming. A lover of live entertainment, he enjoys attending concerts and embracing the energy of different artistic spaces. Driven by a deep love for storytelling, Jason strives to make a meaningful impact through film and his dedication to public health.
