Betsy was born and raised in Waycross, Ga where she was a proud graduate of the 1990 class. Back in the late 1900s she performed many times on this very stage, singing or playing in the Ware County Symphonic Band. Betsy studied music and got her Bachelors and master’s degree in music education. Betsy has her own music studio where she teaches voice and piano and is the Director of Music at Trinity Methodist. When not spending time with her family, she can often times be seen at the Ritz making popcorn, helping backstage, painting, running sound, acting, or being the musical director for the Waycross Area Community Theatre. She is very excited to be a part of the last Dancing with the Southern Stars benefitting two great organizations. Now on with the show……..
