Waycross Area Shelter for Abused Persons, Inc. dba Magnolia House is proud to partner with Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless (OATH) to present the ninth annual Dancing with the Southern Stars.

You can VOTE for your favorite team while helping to raise money for Magnolia House and OATH. The team who raises the most money by event night, thereby collecting the most votes, will receive the Community Choice Award. You can help your favorite team win the prize by voting today. There will be three awards will be presented at the event: First, the Community Choice award - where you can help your favorite dance team! This award goes to the team who raises the most monetary donations for Magnolia House and OATH - Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless. The second, the Judges award, goes to the team who - simply put - puts on the best dance performance of the night as judged by a panel of qualified judges. And, for the second year Entertainer of the Night will be sponsored by Greater Valdosta United Way! 

Mark your calendar for Dancing with the Southern Stars, Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Ware County Middle School Auditorium, starting at 7 p.m.! The time and location for tickets to go on sale will be announced at a later date. Purchase your tickets early – tickets sell out quickly! We look forward to seeing everyone there!
