Patrick Simmons is the executive director of the Waycross Convention and Visitors Bureau (Tourism) for the City of Waycross. He works daily to assist our local attractions and events to promote their events and organizations to increase tourism in the Waycross and Ware County. Before starting with the City of Waycross in 2020, Patrick was the manager of the Waycross Career Center with Department of Labor for 10+ years. He is chairman of the board for OATH (Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless), and Ware Children’s Initiative, and former chairman of the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce. Patrick has an MBA from Georgia Southern University and graduate certificate in Entrepreneurship from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is also a certified personal trainer at Sweat Fitness and he enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining his physical health and strength.

My name is Jennifer Joseph Martin. I am from Lake City, Fl and lived in Waycross/Blackshear for 21 years. I recently got married to a wonderful man, Roger Martin. I have 3 wonderful kids, Austin Ashleigh and Anna and 1 bonus daughter (in-law) Isabella. Also, I have 3 fur babies, Molly, Bandit and Finn. 2 cats, Copper and Belle. I attend Remnant Church of God in Waycross, GA. I am a member of the Blackshear Exchange Club. I have been in banking for 21 years. I work at Primesouth Bank as the Branch Manager. I love my job and my customers. Helping people is my passion, so when I was asked to dance for this wonderful cause, I said yes! I would love to help.
