Hannah Barefield & Bryce Bennett

Bryce Bennett was born and raised in Waycross, Georgia. After graduating from Ware County High School in 2018, he attended ABAC in Tifton to earn his Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Following graduation, he worked in several settings in Macon and Atlanta, including maternal/infant health, critical care, long-term care, and nursing leadership. While doing this, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Georgia State University, a Master of Science in Nursing Administration and Education from Aspen University, and his licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator. Currently, Bryce serves as the Director of Nursing at Baptist Village Retirement Communities in Waycross and is enrolled to earn his Doctorate Degree in Executive Nurse Leadership at Valdosta State University. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys serving and volunteering in communities across Georgia, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and attending sporting events for the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs.

Bryce Bennett

Hannah Barefield is a lifelong native of Waycross, Georgia. She is the oldest daughter of Joe and Sonya Bennett, sibling to Emily Barefield and Bryce Bennett, and serves as the self-proclaimed family manager. She graduated with honors from Ware County High School in 2012. In 2016, she completed her Bachelor’s from Georgia Southern University, then returned to Waycross where she began her career in education at Waycross Middle School. She obtained her Master’s in Education from Arkansas State University, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate through Valdosta State University. Hannah is an Instructional Coach at Ware County High School. In addition to teaching, she has served as a coach of multiple sports at the middle and high school levels.

When she is not working, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies - Tybee and MeMe. She is passionate about giving back to our community, and she is honored to help support The Magnolia House and OATH organizations.
